What is ITIL?
ITIL is the only consistent and comprehensive documentation of best practice for IT Service Management.
Developed by OGC (Office of Government Commerce) and used by many hundreds of organisations around the world, a whole ITIL philosophy has grown up around the guidance contained within the ITIL books and the supporting professional qualification scheme and international user group. ITIL is intended to assist organisations to develop a framework for IT Service Management. Worldwide, ITIL is the most widely used best practice for IT Service Management.
IT Service Management is a focus on the people, processes and technology issues that IT organisations face.
ITIL courses are intended for IT Directors, IT Managers and chief information officers, or those aspiring to one of these positions in any public, private or not for profit organisation.
